Our Story
FarmCover was born from firsthand experience with the challenges farmers face when seeking insurance coverage. Our founders, who grew up in rural New Zealand and have deep connections to the farming community, recognized a significant gap in the market.
Traditional insurance processes were time-consuming and often confusing. Farmers would spend hours on phone calls with different insurers, trying to compare policies that all seemed to use different terminology. Many ended up with inadequate coverage simply because the process was too complicated, or they paid too much because they didn't have time to shop around.
We knew there had to be a better way. In 2020, we launched FarmCover with a vision to transform how New Zealand farmers access insurance. By building a platform that connects farmers with specialist brokers and simplifies the comparison process, we've helped thousands of farming families secure appropriate coverage at competitive prices.
